Production Management

Monkey Business

Role: Director and Producer

2D Short Film: Jan 2020-March 2020

At the start of production, an existing Excel sheet was provided to our crew by the professor. Shortly after assessing our crew's abilities and needs, I modified the sheet to best reflect this.

After my adaptation to the Excel sheet, my professor took notice and then gave copies of the sheet to the other two films in our class. This was in the Winter quarter of 2020 and has since been shown as an example to 2D Short Production classes at SCAD under the same professor.

With this sheet, everyone was able to easily see how much and what they had due each day.

Included was a file naming convention for the animation shots.

Final Film

While filling the Producer and Director role, in addition to these documents, I also created the original idea for the film. With that, I oversaw the creative direction of the film and ensured that all crew members were able to meet their deadlines. I gave direct tasks to individual members and gave feedback and critique on work.

Additionally, I helped on all aspects of production from character designs, storyboards, animatic, layout, animation, and compositing.
